Luwa's History

Luwa Distributing began in 1985 in the garage of the original owner, Jim Rados. In 1988 the first warehouse and distribution center opened in North Seattle – a 5000 sq. ft. facility with a small showroom. Originally, Luwa distributed sinks, faucets, cabinetry, and appliances. By 1993, in addition to appliances, Luwa began distributing the Miele floor care products and hired Kirk Fallgatter to manage this line. Mike Atkinson came on board in 1995 to manage the shipping, receiving, and operations and Chris Walsh followed in 1998 as appliance sales manager. By 2001, Luwa had dropped all lines not related to home appliances and had moved to their current location in Tukwila, Washington. Mike, Chris and Kirk purchased the business in 2002 and continue to strive for excellence and dedication to superior quality and service.

Luwa Distributing and our employees are focused on offering the finest quality service to our dealers and their customers. We carry seven lines of appliances and run a top-notch service and installation center, Luwa Authorized Service.
