Vent-A-Hood

In 1933, working from a small workshop in Dallas, Texas, Vent-A-Hood founder, Carr Collins, Sr., constructed each Vent-A-Hood individually, by hand. In 1937, Collins patented the first generation of his well-know Magic Lung ventilation system. As the demand for his Vent-A-Hoods increased in 1937, Carr hired his nephew, Miles Woodall, to manage the company. Today, Vent-A-Hood has grown from a small workshop to a grand scale manufacturing plant, celebrating their 73rd anniversary under the ownership of the Woodall family in Dallas, Texas.
