In 1922, after loosing his eyesight in a physics experiment, world renowned physicist, Dr. Gustaf Dalen rested at home and noticed the attention his wife spent tending to the couple's current wood burning stove. Passionate about making meal preparation easier for his wife, Dr. Dalen developed the first Traditional AGA Range.

Based on Gustaf Dalen's original cast iron blueprint, the Traditional AGA Range is still offered today in multiple range options. In addition to the Traditional Range, AGA has expanded their product line to include the 6-4 Series, Legacy Series and Companion Series-each in a wide variety of colors to match every kitchen design.
